Have you heard of the “Wijklobby” community center at the Ibis Hotel? For the past few months, the Wijklobby at Wijnhaven 12 has been open for social gatherings and activities. The doors are open to all neighborhood residents who enjoy getting together—whether for socializing, a hobby, a game, or just a cup of coffee. The latest newsletter is attached below.
Recently, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming several neighborhood initiatives. The book club and craft club have now made the space their own, and various other neighborhood activities have already taken place here. It’s wonderful to see the neighborhood lobby increasingly becoming a place where local residents can meet.
The Wijklobby is an initiative of active residents, the Ibis Hotel, and the Maritiem District Foundation. We would like to expand our activities and raise awareness.
