The Risico is a clipperaak deck ship with a complete and authentic image including tiller, rigging, gunwales, jib boom, bokkepots, swords and hatch cover. What is particularly striking is that it is a Klipperaak without a deckhouse, which you don’t see very often. There is, however, a potting closet/summer deckhouse. Aft cabin still contains most of the original paneling.

First owner Jan Oostland lived on the ship in Groningen until the 1990s, after which the ship was re-rigged. I live on the ship in the old port of Rotterdam and in the vacations I sail in Zeeland, on the Wadden Sea or in Friesland. In particular, participation in the Beet Trip in the fall in Zeeland is an annual highlight.
