The “Linquenda” has had several names and owners. This is how the ship was called “Vorwoirts” during the occupation.

In 1996 the bare boat was completely timbered inside and a mast was put back, the then owner wanted to sail it again.

When the current owner purchased the ship in 2021 he had no experience with ships, now much maintenance and much learning further he wants to sail on the Wadden Sea.

This barge used to transport sand and peat. The “Linquenda” served from its construction in 1910 until as late as 1980.
